I went along to WEST WAY MOTORS in OLDHAM to purchase a first car for my daughter. My daughter fell in love with a gold Nissan Micra on show there. The sales assistant was super friendly, helping us along with an imminent sale. That was until his manageress was involved during the negotiation process, with a very negative attitude indeed. In fact, she could be heard by the whole sales room shouting from the office at her sales assistant just because I asked for a full tank of fuel to be included in the agreed price. A simple and often made request at the end of a car sales negotiation to which a simple "SORRY NO" would have been quite sufficient. We would have probably gone ahead with the sale. Instead, I found her attitude very rude and very patronising, not only to myself as this lady no doubt knew I could hear her, but also to the poor sales assistant who was doing his best to be professional. As it was, we had to walk away bemused and disappointed. Can you imagine how bad her attitude would be during 'after sales' if her attitude was this bad before purchase?

Both myself and my husband regularly change our cars and are due to change our cars this year. I am looking at the new Quaqui crossover and my husband is currently interested in the 350 Z and my daughter is going to go ahead and find a Nissan Micra for herself.

The experience dealing with this showroom has definitely put my family off wanting to buy any cars from this dealership in future.
